It's getting colder outside and the days are getting shorter. It's time to head into the kitchen and learn a new delicious hobby.  Cheese making!  Fromage blanc is one of my favorite cheeses this time of the year because it has so many culinary applications.  Fromage blanc is a soft, fresh cheese that you can use in sauces, dips, spreads, baking and even desserts.  Talk about a versatile cheese.  It is one that you will always want to have on hand!

I had a great time this summer teaching hand stretched Mozzarella class under the gazebo at 40 Knots Vineyard in Comox this past summer.  So much so that Brenda and the fabulous gang there want to host another event in the New Year.  We will be inside the tasting room...
